Dongshan is nestled on a peninsula extending from Taihu Lake, surrounded on three sides by water. It is a part of the beautiful Taihu Lake scenic area, a few minutes from Suzhou and Shanghai, but far enough so you can take a deep breath out of the city center.
The trip is all about slowing down the pace from the hustle and bustle of big cities and experiencing China’s nature at its best! Feel the Spring season all year round with its blossoms everywhere.
Make sure to bring your hiking shoes (easy Hike for all ages!) to walk up the hills and spot the beauty of the local villages. Understand the local culture using their own lenses and visit a local farmer’s house. And to close it up, relax at night in a beautiful private garden, all to yourself!
