The loquat is a well-known local fruit in Suzhou, and Dongshan is a famous loquat production area in China. On this trip, we will take you to Dongshan to experience its beautiful nature. Dongshan produces more than ten kinds of loquat. One of the most well-known is the Baisha loquat. It is small and round with juicy white flesh. People have eaten this fruit since ancient times and it is known as “the golden honey pot”.
Loquat can aid digestion, relieve thirst and cool you down on hot days.The loquat tree is full of treasures. As well as its delicious fruit, its flowers and leaves can be made into loquat cream, a traditional Chinese medicine. The fruit can also be made into wine and jam.
